Kedarnath Yatra 2024: The journey to Kedarnath Dhaam, one of the four Dhams of Uttarakhand, has been restricted for months. The doors of Kedarnath temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, are opening on May 10, 2024. Registration for the Yatra of Kedarnath Temple has started from 15th March 2024. Travelers can register themselves on the official website of Uttarakhand Sarakaar or Kedaaranaath Dharma.
Kedaaranaath Dhaam is situated in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. To reach here one has to travel 16 kilometers on foot from Gaureekund to Kedaranath. You can go to the temple without riding a horse or riding a horse. Apart from this, the elephant is also found in Kedarnath. From Gaureekund or Ghat, you can reach Kedaaranaath temple via Heleekoptar. However, you should book in advance to avail the Heleekoptar facility. Registration for Kedarnath Yatra
Before booking the helicopter, every passenger has to register for the journey by visiting the website of the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (registrationtouristcare.uk.gov.in).
When can you book a helicopter?
Helicopter ticket booking for Kedarnath Dham Yatra has started from 20th April 2024. You can book a helicopter service from 10th May to 20th June. You can book a helicopter for Kedarnath from 15th September to 31st October.
How to register
Registration- Visit the IRCTC Heli Yatra website (www.heliyatra.irctc.co.in) click on Registration Process and register through the Sign Up button.
Sign in - During registration, you will have to provide your information, including your name, mobile number, email ID, and state name, create a password, and create an account.
Login- Log in using your registered mobile number and password and fill in the registration details. For example, enter your Chardhar Registration Group ID for group booking and individual registration number for individual booking.
Slot Booking- Fill in the helicopter operator as per your requirement and the date and slot time of travel.
Information of all passengers, in which their ID card number will have to be entered.
OTP- A one-time password will be sent to your registered mobile number or email for verification.
Online Payment- After confirming the booking, book the ticket through the online payment process.
Download Ticket- After successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation mail or link from where you can download the ticket.
